GTN aims to provide a network for Green Theatre Groups at each hospital to collaborate. The GTN can then provide a statewide advocacy to a variety of bodies including state health departments, professional bodies and other related organisations. The Green Theatre Groups at each hospital provide an opportunity for multidisciplinary staff and hospital leaders to collaborate on practical sustainability measures that work in their institution.
There is currently a GTN in Western Australia with Green Theatre Groups in most major public hospitals. It would be great to get GTGs in every hospital and GTNs in every state. If you’re keen to get the ball rolling in your state/hospital, we’re more than happy to chat. @WAGreenTheatres on twitter
